Journalists and photographers have faced job losses across the country.
Five Midlands News Association photographers have lost their jobs in Wolverhampton, and Newsquest has revealed that it is cutting more journalist jobs across its titles.
Five of 12 photographers working for Midlands News Association have been put at risk of redundancy.
Midlands News Assocation is publisher of titles including the regional daily Express and Star.
In 2014, the Midlands News Association made an operating profit of £3.6m, on a turnover of £38.1M.
Newsquest has also announced further job cuts on the Clyde and Forth Press weekly newspaper titles.
These titles were previously part of the Romanes Group, which was bought by Newsquest in May 2015.
