Glass, a pop-up glossy magazine, will give "a new take on womanhood" according to publishers J. Walter Thompson (JWT).
Glass was created by the publishing company in partnership with Getty Images.
The magazine's launch will coincide with a JWT panel debate, which will explore the current and future aspirations, behaviours, motivations, and passions of women.
Glass will feature essays written exclusively for the title from various female thought-leaders, including Getty Images CEO Dawn Airey.
Pam Grossman, director of visual trends at Getty Images, said: As visual communicators, we know that images have the power to ignite change. Many representations of gender in the media and in advertising seem outdated, clichéd and inauthentic. Women have moved beyond stereotypes but the industries around them havent necessarily caught up yet. We are excited to help forward the conversation with a magazine that so dynamically reflects the vitality, variation, and limitless imagination were seeing in womens lives today.
Glass will be avaialble in both print and digital versions.
