Swipe magazine is a freesheet that prints the best internet content of the fortnight.
The introduction of Swipe has changed the way publishers are viewing digital content.
The fortnightly London-based freesheet promises readers the best of the internet in print, reversing the status-quo of print to digital.
Other magazines have tried this route in the past; think Net-a-Porter's print magazine offering, Porter, and Politico launching a print magazine in 2013.
Swipe is aimed at millennials, and is run by millennials. Publisher Tom Rendell says the audience is "commuting, time poor, early [adopting]".
17, 000 editions of Swipe are handed out at 23 tube stations across London.
Rendell also says: The key is helping the online publishers find new audiences. One of the problems with online is that it rewards those who know their search engine optimisation and social media marketing rather than, necessarily, rewarding quality. Magazine curation is a way to bypass this 'filter bubble' and help time-poor readers discover something worthwhile."
