Facebook's Instant Articles feature is being utilised by publishers on the social media platform.
Instant Articles allows publishers to share multiple articles in one post, and to publish regular editions of content straight onto the platform.
Publishers including BuzzFeed, El Pais, The Sun, and The Washington Post have been testing out the updated feature before it's official release.
David Merrell, lead product manager at The Washington Post, said: We can explore the opportunities beyond just a link,
Publishers can experiment with timing of posts, and types of content being shared before the update is officially launched.
Merrell went on to say: When you wake up, the first thing you do is go on Facebook. Rather than seeing a scattering of news articles, youll get the five most important articles right now.
