The magazine is aimed at the millennial generation.
Swipe magazine is aimed at 18 - 35 year olds - the so-called millennial generation.
The print magazine runs web stories in order to appeal to it's young readership.
Swipe was launched by two former Newsweek employees, Barney Guiton (editor) and Tom Rendell (publisher).
The first edition of the magazine was launched on 26th May 2016.
Guiton said: Swipe is designed to appeal to millennials. There are a lot of 18-35 years olds, and people talk about them being hard to reach, but those are the people who arent part of that audience. Its a silly term really, but its important because they are the first internet generation.
Swipe is currently partnered with 80 digital publishers, including Vocativ, Business Insider, and the Memo.
The magazine takes web articles, edits them, then prints them. Each issue is broken down into sections including life, travel, technology, and politics.
Rendell explained: [Millennials] are used to reading from a wide variety of sources online every day. In comparison to the web, a magazine focusing just on fashion or sport can seem narrow were publishing a magazine that reflects the variety of the internet but still focuses on great stories and writing.
The magazine intends to launch an e-newsletter in the coming weeks.
Currently, 20,000 copies are circulated in London only.
