InterGo Group’s John Bardsley Joins The Board Of Trustees for NewstrAid Benevolent Fund.
The InterGo Group is pleased to announce the appointment of its Group Managing Director, John Bardsley, to the Board of Trustees for news industry charity, NewstrAid Benevolent Fund. John has a long association with the charity, having recently served as Chairman of the Surrey and Sussex Area Committee since January 2023.
Commenting on his appointment, John says, “I am delighted to be joining the NewstrAid Board of Trustees. The charity provides invaluable support to people who work or have worked in the sale and distribution of newspapers and magazines and require a helping hand. It is both a pleasure and an honour to have the opportunity to put something back into the industry and support those in need.”
Chief Executive Officer, Neil Jagger, commented, “The Trustees and I are delighted to welcome John to our Trustee Board. John brings a wealth of knowledge gained during his career in the newspaper and magazine industry. He carries on a strong Bardsley tradition as his late father, Jeff, was a previous Trustee Board Chairman. I very much look forward to John’s positive contribution to the future success of NewstrAid.”
