Herald Group has revealed circulation is up 20% in both print and online, following the launch of The National.
The Glasgow based publishing group has stated that thanks to the success of the pro-Scottish independence, print and online circulation is up 20% year on year.
Herald Group has also acknowledged that the Sunday Herald has contributed to the company's recent success.
This success is despite introducing a metered paywall online.
Herald Group is owned by Newsquest; websites included in the successful year include: thenational.scot and heraldscotland.com.
Print sales and online subscriptions have risen to more than 91, 000 in the first half of 2015, which is an increase from 76, 000 year on year.
The Sunday Herald alone has recorded a 34.7% year on year circulation increase to 32, 204, while The Herald saw a 4.9% circulation fall year on year, to 37, 044.
Herald Scotland now claims around 14, 000 subscribers - a huge increase on the 3, 190 recorded last year.
The National and the Sunday Herald now claim to have a combined print and digital subscription of 16, 922.
