Marketing Magazine is being folded into sister advertising magazine Campaign.

Haymarket Media Group has announced the decision to fold Marketing Magazine into Campaign.

Marketing Magazine is an 85 year old title.

The last issue of the title will be the May 2016 edition. The first edition was published in 1931.

Campaign, a weekly magazine, will include Marketing Magazine content following the closure.

This follows the closure of Media Week in 2009, whose content was also folded into Campaign.

The editors of Campaign, Beale and Adrian Barrick, said in a statement: “Thriving amid these constant shifting complexities requires a clearer focus and a bolder vision than ever before, with smart agencies and marketers working together as true partners to invest in creative ideas that drive measurable growth.

“The old partitions between marketers, creatives and media are increasingly unsustainable.
