Heat Street is being launched by Louise Mensch, former Conservative MP.
Miles Goslett has been announced as the UK editor of the website, which is billed as a libertarian news website.
Heat Street is being launched by News Corp, who have stated that Heat Street will "in a spirit of free speech and no safe spaces', cover a variety of topics from a diversity of viewpoints".
Goslett is most known for being the first journalist to break the news that BBC Newsnight spiked an investigation into allegations against Jimmy Savile, in The Oldie magazine.
Goslett also broke the news of financial irregularities at Kids Company, in The Spectator.
