A series of new appointments by Newsweek brings the London newsroom headcount to 12.
Newsweek has announced a several new appointments to its London office.
The headcount in the Newsweek London newsroom now stands at 12.
The expansion of the London team comes after Matt McAllester became European Editor in August 2015.
This is a stark contrast to July 2015, at which time Newsroom made eight journalists redundant.
As well as the redundancies of eight London print journalists, Newsweek also scaled back the European print edition under editor Richard Addis.
The European print edition of Newsweek was launched in April 2014.
New appointments include Serena Kutchinsky as digital editor, and Graham Smith as deputy online news editor.
Kutchinsky is currently digital editor of Prospect Magazine, while Smith is editor of Businesstraveller.com.
