It will be distributed at festivals including Glastonbury, Reading, and Leeds.
NME magazine, a Time Inc UK title, will be distributed at 10 UK festivals this summer.
This is in addition to the distribution points at travel hubs across the UK.
Two million music fans are expected to attend these festivals, where 240 NME distributors will be on site.
Paul Cheal, group managing director of Time Inc. UKs Innovation Group, said: NMEs intelligent distribution strategy is agile and responsive to audience trends. Launching one-off distribution points is an important part of that strategy and it makes sense for us to have a presence at large scale events targeting the same audience. The active hand-to-hand distribution optimises the opportunity to put the product directly into the hands of our audience and our festival distribution at travel hubs around Radio 1s Big Weekend delivered solid results with 10,000 copies distributed.
NME is already available at 100 tube stations and 21 regional train stations across the UK, as well as in shops such as Topman, HMV, and Dr Martens stores.
