The Daily Star Sunday has been revealed as the UK's best performing national newspaper, according to ABC.
In the first full month since its price was halved, The Daily Star Sunday has been named the UK's best performing national newspaper by ABC.
The Daily Star Sunday halved it's cover price from £1 to 50p on 11th October 2015.
In September 2015, the newspaper's average circulation was 250, 574.
However, in November 2015 this figure has risen to 289, 174.
This figure, released by ABC, represents a 7.2% increase year on year.
The Daily Star, the newspaper's sister title, has also recently cut its price from 40p to 20p.
According to ABC, the Daily Star has recorded an average circulation of 450, 045 in November 2015.
This figure represents a 2.7% increase year on year.
The Times has recorded it's highest circulation figure since August 2012, the month of the London Olympics.
An average circulation of 407, 566 was recorded by The Times, which represents a 4.7% increase year on year.
This was, in part, thanks to an increase in bulk copies.
The Times has increased the number of bulk copies per day by more than 3, 000.
The Sunday Times also increased the number of bulk copies it distributed in November 2015.
In October, The Sunday Times distributed 14, 438 bulk copies whereas in November it distributed 21, 961 bulk copies.
Perhaps in part thanks to this, The Sunday Times overtook the Sunday Mirror to become the UK's third best selling Sunday newspaper.
The worst performing national newspaper in November 2015 was The Sunday People, which saw a circulation drop of 17.5% to 289, 501.
