On 8^th November 2019, publishers from across the country met in Central London to celebrate the dynamic and exciting independent publishing industry with the PPA Independent Publisher Awards.

A conference was held in the morning of the awards, where speakers from various media companies joined together to discuss and celebrate how the publishing industry will continue to grow and flourish in the future.

The awards ceremony was hosted by comedian Jessica Fostekew, popular for her work on The Hoovering Podcast, and held several categories, including ‘Editor of the Year’ and ‘Industry Partner of the Year’.

A number of publishers were awarded on the day, including Wanderlust, an independent travel magazine who have been growing over the last year. As a valued client of Intermedia, Wanderlust have seen great success and are well-deserving winners of the award ‘Team of the Year’, which was judged by some of the top names in the publishing industry.

Intermedia would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Wanderlust and all the other winners of the day. Hopefully this success will continue into 2020 and we will see independent publishers continue to grow and excel.
