Perspecs, a free news aggregation app, has been launched by Trinity Mirror.
Trinity Mirror has launched a new free app called Perspecs, which is available on both Apple and Android devices.
Perspecs aims to present the reader with "three sides to a news story". It will include short snippets from website articles, with links to said articles included.
Perspecs will include website articles from a variety of different news sources, including Trinity Mirror rival titles.
A list of ten topics with three aggregated stories attaached is published by Perspecs each day.
Websites with links on the Perspecs app include The Telegraph, The Guardian, Football365, Huffington Post, City AM, UKIP's website, The Daily Express, The Mirror, The Independent, and The International Business Times.
Trinity Mirror stated that Perspecs lets "users to switch between different news sources presenting differing views for example the neutral, left and right wing political perspective of the same story, or a home, away or neutral report on a football result".
