Apple News Launches In The UK

New aggregation service Apple News has been launched in the UK.


Apple News collects stories from different news sources, based on topics users are interested in.

The service will be available on all Apple devices that are compatible with iOS 9.

Apple News currently has a partnership with 14 news organisations in the UK.

News organisations currently partnering with Apple News in the UK, are: BBC News, Conde Nast, The Economist, Financial Times, The Guardian, Haymarket, Hearst, Immediate Media, Sky News, The Sun, the Telegraph, Time Inc., The Times and Trinity Mirror.

The BBC is taking part in a six month trial with Apple News.

The Apple News app will allow readers to share news articles on social media, with news publishers also able to put links to their own websites in Apple News stories.
