The total audience for BBC international services has grown 12% year on year.
The BBC has claimed that the total audience for its international services has grown to 348 million.
This growth represents a 12% increase year on year.
This can be broken down into 162M in television, 147M in radio, and 80M in digital (which includes social media).
The total figure represents the audience outside of the UK, as well as viewers tuning in to World Service broadcasts within the UK, including the BBC World News channel.
The BBC has revealed that its biggest audiences, outside of the UK, are the US and India with a combined 35M.
India represents 23M, closely followed by Pakistan at 13M, Iran at 12M, Egypt at 11M, Tanzania at 10M, Brazil at 8M, Afghanistan at 7M, and Bangladesh at 6M.
