BRITAIN magazine wins at the British Travel Awards
The title won Best Consumer Holiday Magazine at the prestigious awards.
Winners were announced at a gala awards ceremony on 23 November 2016, in front of a record number of guests from the travel and leisure industry.

Steve Pill, publisher of the title, said: Were thrilled to have won the Best Consumer Holiday Magazine award, having won Silver in 2015. The awards are voted for by the public so it is a massive achievement for both titles. A huge thanks to everyone involved in putting both magazines together and especially to our Editor, Sally for helping us get the vote out so successfully on the website and social media.
BRITAIN magazine aims to inform readers about the UK's rich history and traditions, with each issue including stories about kings and queens, heroes and villains, and the tales behind the country's castles, cathedrals, stately homes and gardens, countryside and coastline.
Chief executive of the British Travel Awards, Lorraine Barnes Burton, said: This year 333,200 consumers registered to place their votes and give their opinions on the additional Travel Vision survey which runs alongside the BTA voting categories. A whopping 1,332,516 votes and opinions were cast between 4 July and 30 September 2016. The travelling public regard the British Travel Awards winners logo as the benchmark for excellence when it comes to finding out who are the best travel companies andBRITAIN is to be congratulated on their achievement.
