Nominations for the fourth British Journalism Awards for public interest journalism have now opened.
The British Journalism Awards are open to all journalists, and are dedicated to journalism which is in the public interest and interesting to the public.
A new category has been introduced this year for 'popular journalism', which is for work published in tabloids and by broadcasters and websites with mass popular appeal.
Other categories in the British Journalism Awards include: Campaign of the Year, New Journalist of the Year, Journalist of the Year, and Investigation of the Year.
In 2014, more than 200 entries were received from broadcasters, magazines, websites, national and regional newspapers, news agencies and freelancers.
Andrew Norfolk of The Times was named Journalist of the Year in 2014, while previous winners include Michael Gillard and David Walsh.
The deadline to enter an award category is 5pm on 9th October 2015, while the winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on 1st December 2015.
