An injunction about a celebrity's alleged extramarital affair has been taken to the Supreme Court.
A UK celebrity currently has an injunction against a tabloid newspaper story centring around his alleged affair.
The injunction remains in place until a decision is made by the Supreme Court.
Initially, a High Court judge refuse to impose the injunction, however the ruling was appealed successfully.
Last week, the injunction was again questioned as lawyers stated that the ban should be lifted, as newspapers abroad were naming the celebrity.
The celebrity's legal team has argued that disabling the injunction would have "devastating consequences" on the couple in questions children.
The injunction has been widely questioned by national newspapers, and by the public, as the identity of the celebrity is widely available on social media and across the internet.
