Cosmopolitan Deputy Editors Moves To Heat Magazine
Bauer Media has announced that the current deputy editor of Cosmopolitan magazine has moved to become editor of Heat magazine.
Suzy Cox is to move from her position of deputy editor at Cosmopolitan to editor at Heat.
Cox has, in her time at Cosmopolitan, also edited Cosmo on Campus.
She will now work under Heat magazine's editor in chief Lucie Cave.
Cave said "Suzy is a very talented editor, full of bright plans for Heat, and I am very much looking forward to working with her. She is joining Heat at a very exciting period in its history as we continue to evolve."
The news that Cox will leave Cosmopolitan comes just after the women's magazine announced the appointment of a new editor.
Former Cosmopolitan editor Louise Court was named director of editorial strategy and content at Hearst Magazines, recently.
Court previously edited Cosmopolitan for eight years.
Women's Health editor Farrah Storr replaced Court as editor of Cosmopolitan.
On her appointment to Heat magazine, Cox said "I have lots of ideas for the development of the magazine and can't wait to get started."
Cos has previously worked at Mizz, Smash Hits, 19, Grazia and The Sun's Fabulous magazine.
