A new magazine based on the CBeebies programme Twirlywoos has been launched by DC Thomson.
The new title, published by DC Thomson, is based upon the popular CBeebies television programme Twirlywoos.
DC Thomson has revealed that the title will be aimed at both girls and boys aged between two and four years old.
The magazine will be 28 pages long, and will be "silly, fun, and full of surprises".
The title will include "innovative features encouraging learning through play".
In a press release, DC Thomson said: "There are no right or wrong answers in Twirlywoos magazine just the space for children to read, understand and respond on their own terms.
"The magazine features are engaging and silly, and the humour that underpins the show is evident throughout.
"The innovative pre-school magazine features kids favourites; colouring in, stickers and activities, and each issue comes with a fantastic Twirlywoos covermount gift."
DC Thomson also currently publishes The Beano, The Broons, Animals and You, and Oor Wullie.
In the first half of 2015, ABC audited 24 pre-school children's magazines. It recorded a combined circulation of 968, 682, which was down 0.6% year on year.
