Lads magazines FHM and Zoo are to be closed by publisher Bauer Media.
Plans to stop publishing FHM and Zoo magazines have been announced by Bauer Media.
The planned closure will affect both the print and online versions of both magazines.
20 editorial jobs will be at risk of redundancy when the closures go ahead.
In recent years, both Nuts magazine and Loaded magazine have faced closure, although the latter has been relaunched as a website.
In the first half of 2015, FHM recorded an average monthly circulation of 72, 180.
In the year 2000, FHM recorded an average monthly circulation of over 700, 000.
Zoo magazine had an average weekly circulation of 27, 644 in the first half of 2015.
In 2005, the average weekly circulation of Zoo magazine was over 260, 000.
FHM has been published since 1985, while Zoo was launched in 2004.
I greatly appreciate Damien McSorleys leadership and the dedication and effort from both teams.
"I would like to thank our advertisers and retailers who have supported the brands and Im sure that everyone who has worked on FHM and ZOO over the years will be sorry to hear this news. said Gareth Cherrimen, publisher of both titles.
