A new content publishing feature is being tested by Google.
The new feature, which would allow media companies to publish content directly to Google, and have it appear instantly in search results, is being tested by Google.
The company has stated that it has been testing the feature since January 2016.
Recently, Google opened the feature to a selection of small businesses, media companies, and political candidates.
The new feature would allow posts of up to 14, 400 characters, with links and up to 10 images or videos, to be published directly.
It will also give publishers the option to share their posts on Twitter, Facebook, or via email.
Each post would be hosted by Google itself on a dedicated page.
It would also appear in a carousel in the results page for searches related to their authors for up to one week at a time.
After the one week time frame, the post will no longer appear in search results.
The post will then be available to access via a Google link.
There is not yet a set launch date for this feature.
