The HIP is looking for a £15,000 crowdfunding investment to fund new office space.
The HIP is a community-led free newspaper, which has recently published it's 50th edition.
The title is seeking £15, 000 to move to a new professional office space, and to further build its distribution service.
The HIP is currently published every two weeks, and is entirely run by a team of volunteers. It operates a politically left-wing stance, and has been in print for two years.
The newspaper provides local news, and also offers journalism training and work experience.
The HIP's rival title is The Hastings Observer, a Johnston Press newspaper.
Although The Hastings Observer is not audited by ABC, it had a weekly paid-for circulation of 18, 000 in 2010.
