Media 10 announces new editor for Grand Designs magazine

Karen Stylianides to head up best-selling homes brand.

Media 10 has announced the appointment of Karen Stylianides as editor of its best-selling self-build magazine Grand Designs - the print extension of the successful TV franchise fronted by Kevin McCloud.

Karen is currently deputy editor of House Beautiful and will join the Media 10 team to drive the continued growth of the Grand Designs brand across its multimedia platforms, which include print, web, social and live events.

Media 10 editor-in-chief Lisa Allen says: "Karen has a fantastic track record of producing creative and engaging homes content for many of the UKs market-leading homes brands, including Livingetc, Ideal Home and Good Homes, as well as House Beautiful. She has the perfect blend of experience and expertise to lead the exciting multimedia development programme we have planned for Grand Designs to capitalise on the dynamic and fast-growing self-build market, which is expanding rapidly in response to the UKs need for affordable homes."

Karen has also worked closely with commercial teams to develop creative partnerships with clients across both print and digital.
