The new i editorial team has been revealed, including a number of journalists from The Independent.

The i has now transferred to Johnston Press ownership.

The new editorial team for the i under Johnston Press consists of 50 individuals, with many coming from The Independent.

The Independent was closed after 30 years in print, in March 2016.

The new i team is three times the size it was before Johnston Press took ownership.

When Evgeny Lebedev owned the i, the editorial team stood at just 17 individuals.
