The Dulwich Diverter will be launched in early May 2016, funded by a Kickstarter campaign.
Kate White and Mark McGinlay, founders of The Peckham Perculiar, are to launch a new title in Dulwich this year.
The new title, which will be called The Dulwich Diverter, will be launched in the first week of May 2016.
The Dulwich Diverter will be published six time per year, and will be distributed to local businesses in the Dulwich area.
Founder White is a freelance journalist, while McGinlay is a social media manager and publicist.
White and McGinlay originally launched The Peckham Percular, a hyperlocal title, two years ago.
The Peckham Perculiar is also published six times per year, and breaks even.
The Dulwich Diverter will have a print run of 8, 000 copies.
White and McGinlay hope to attract local businesses to advertise in the title.
The launch of the title is being funded by a Kickstarter campaign, which has raised more than double it's £4, 500 target.
On the launch, co-founder McGinlay said: We love local newspapers and we passionately believe that hyperlocal news isn't just for the internet. While social media is a great way of engaging with the local community, not everyone is online. We want our paper to be as inclusive as possible and accessible to all.
