Editors of Newsquest's Sunday Herald and Evening Times titles in Glasgow have agreed to take voluntary redundancies.
Richard Walker, editor of The Sunday Herald, has agreed to take a voluntary redundancy.
The Sunday Herald was the only paid-for regional title to increase circulation in the first half of 2015.
Circulation of the local title was up 15.5% year on year to 29, 009. It was also the only major title in Scotland to back the 'yes' vote in the 2014 independence referendum.
Walker also edits the successful Newsquest title, The National; a pro-independence daily title.
Although Walker has been made redundant from The Sunday Herald, he will continue to work as consultant editor of The National.
Tony Carlin has also taken a voluntary redundancy from the Evening Times; both The Sunday Herald and the Evening Times are part of Newsquest's Herald and Times Group.
Walker has worked as editor of the Sunday Herald for 11 years, while Carlin was made editor of the Evening Times in 2009.
The Evening Times saw an average daily circulation of 29, 951 in the first half of 2015, according to ABC figures.
