November Website ABCs Revealed

Website ABC figures for November 2015 show The Guardian performing well.

The Guardian's website has seen it's average daily unique user figure increase by more then 1M in November 2015.

In November, The Guardian's website recorded 9.3M average daily users, while in October the same website saw 8.2M, according to ABC.

This is a 53.6% increase year on year, and a 13% increase month on month.

ABC stated that this increase could be explained by "significant increases in readers from Europe, as well as strong growth in the US and UK".

The Guardian, meanwhile, stated that the coverage of the Paris terror attacksĀ "drew a large number of global readers".

According to ABC, the day after the Paris terror attacks, Saturday 14th November 2015, the Guardian's website saw 16.1M users.

Despite The Guardian's success, Mail Online remains the UK's biggest national newspaper website.

Mail Online saw an average of 14.6M unique daily users in November 2015, which was an increase of 16.8% year on year, according to ABC.

The second best performing national newspaper website was The Independent.

An average of 3.3M daily unique users were recorded for The Independent's website, which is a 47.1% increase year on year.
