National titles saw increased print and online readership around the referendum.
The Mail Online saw a readership increase of 10.4% year on year in June 2016.
The Daily Mail's online counterpart also saw a record 15.1M daily unique browsers in the same period, according to ABC.
An average of 207M daily page impressions were recorded by the title, along with 4M daily video plays.
The Guardian also had a record readership month, with 10.3M unique daily browsers.
Closely following behind was the Mirror with just over 5M browsers, and The Independent with 4.4M.
In terms of print, the majority of national newspapers registered a sales increase month on month.
The Mirror titles were the only nationals not to see an increase.
Most increases were given a helping hand from an increase in bulk copies, for example The Sunday Times grew 5.5% year on year, with 60, 000 extra bulk copies.
According to Newsworks, an additional 90,000 national newspapers were sold in June per day.
In comparison with May 2016, an additional 2.7M copies were sold over the course of the month.
