A 'gloriumptious puzzle' has been created to honour Roald Dahl centenary.
Puzzler Media launched Creative Dot-to-Dot in June 2016, and it has quickly become one of it's most successful titles.
The company has now made what is thought to be the world's biggest line and point puzzle, re-creating a classic image from Roald Dahl's BFG.
Dahl's books often encourage adults to learn from children and embrace the idea of play.
This maxim is something that will resonate with fans of Puzzler magazines, so it is hoped that the world's biggest dot-to-dot puzzle will be a great success.
The 1, 000 dot puzzle was commissioned featuring Sophie and the BFG.
It was then hand filled out in the gardens of Surrey's Botleys Mansion, as a giant projector beamed the process live onto the side of the stately home.
At 40 foot high by 80 foot wide, it is believed to be the largest scale dot-to-dot puzzle ever created.
Mark Whiteway, Publishing Manager of Puzzler Media said: Weve been publishing dot-to- dots in our magazines for over four decades but in the last year weve seen requests for this kind of puzzle go dotty. So we came up with Creative Dot-to- Dot, a magazine dedicated to this jollysome, stress-fizzling pastime.
Adult puzzlers have taken a leaf out of Dahls books by embracing this carefree childhood activity. So it seemed fitting to celebrate the life of one of the most imaginative, magical and best-loved storytellers with a dot-to- dot thats giant in every way. We had a huge amount of fun solving it and we hope you do too.
