Shortlist Media appoints Deputy Commercial Director
Tarun Naipaul has been appointed in the newly created role.
Naipaul will take responsibility for the trading teams for both ShortList and Stylist magazines, including their websites and brand extensions.
He will also look after the company's email brands, Mr Hyde and Emerald Street.
Naipaul was previously at The National, in a head of agency sales role.
He has also previously spent time at both The Telegraph and Trinity Mirror.
Chris Healy, group commercial director, said: The opportunity to appoint someone of Taruns experience and profile within the industry does not come along often. Married with the strategic objective of bolstering an already strong commercial team, Tarun showed a huge appetite and enthusiasm for the company and I look forward to working with him very closely over the coming months as the company moves from strength to strength.
Naipaul himself said: I am absolutely delighted to be joining ShortList Media. It is a company that has established fabulous award-winning brands with an excellent commercial reputation. I cant wait to contribute to the continued success of such an exciting, forward thinking company.
