Guardian News and Media employs around 950 editorial staff, most of whom are dedicated to producing digital content.
Titles including the Daily Mail, however, have separate teams for producing print and online content.
Sales of print copies of The Guardian fell by 7% year on year in August 2015, to 165, 290.
In contrast to this, TheGuardian.com saw 7.5M daily unique browsers on average, which was an increase of 29.5%.
