A new free weekly newspaper, The Times of Tonbridge, has been launched.
The Times of Tonbridge will have an initial free distribution of 7, 000 copies.
The new title will compete directly against the Kent and Sussex Courier, a Trinity Mirror title.
The Kent and Sussex Courier has a paid-for circulation of around 6, 000 copies per week.
The Times of Tonbridge is being launched by Publisher One Media, who also publish The Times of Tonbridge Wells.
Former managing editor of the Kent and Sussex Courier Group, Frank Baldwin, has been appointed as editor at large of The Times of Tonbridge.
