Trinity Mirror To Launch New Title

A new national newspaper title is expected to be launched within a fortnight by Trinity Mirror.

The new national newspaper title is expected to be called 'New Day'.

It is believed that Trinity Mirror will be launching the title within a fortnight.

At the end of January 2016, it was revealed that the title was due to be launched in late February / early March.

'New Day' is being led by Alison Philips, editor of the Sunday Mirror.

Sky News has reported that 'New Day' will cost 25p per issue, while The Guardian has reported that it will cost 20p per issue.

It is believed the title will be aimed at a mid-market audience, and will be in direct competition with the Daily Express and the Daily Mail.
