On average magazines lost circulation in the UK in the first half of 2016.
UK consumer magazines lost circulation by an average of 5.3%, according to the latest ABC results.
174 titles were audited by ABC for the first six months of 2016.
The majority of those audited lost circulation on a year on year basis in the period.
Despite this, Cosmopolitan's circulation was up 60% to over 400, 000 copies per month.
Cosmopolitan was one of the best performing titles in the period, perhaps due to the fact it's cover price was cut to £1, and 100, 000 free copies were introduced.
The Spectator also performed well in this period, with a 37.9% year on year increase in circulation.
The political weekly title now has a circulation of 76, 750 copies.
The Economist also saw a circulation growth, up 3.5% to 236, 342 per week.
However, Reader's Digest, Heat, NOW!, Glamour, and Saga Magazine all experienced big falls in circulation.
